I'm not sure if this is right or not. I just joined the board, and wanted to tell you about myself. I couldn't find "New thread" under New Member Announcement...which may be due to my foggy brain with computer things.
Anyway, I am also known as stoontoons. I have seen the work of some of the other members, and I'm totally blown away by the quality I've seen exhibited. I am a student, albeit a mature one, but I've done some work as a cartoonist in the past. I have a husband, who works as a mechanic, so he is as far from being a crazy creative artist as you can get! I also have two grown kids, a daughter age 21, and a son, age 23. I am taking graphic design and illustration, and right now, I'm looking for my workterm job for the summer. I love movies, I'm a champion at Trivial Pursuit, and I collect comics. Not quite your typical mom!
Looking forward to hearing your comments on my work. I'm finishing up some drawings right now, and hope to get them scanned in soon.

i always laugh so hard when i see this cartoon. it's one of my favourites. thanks, birdy! blazingtoony has been really busy working full-time, and then doing freelance makeup. plus, she's got this boyfriend who takes up a lot of her time...she hasn't done much drawing lately. making lots of jewellry now, as her creative outlet. thanks for asking.
