I have tons of books, I pick up almost every book on drawing that I come by and that looks ok.

These two books are extremly good, a great foundation to figur drawing

http://www.amazon.com/Artists-Complete-G....0680358&sr =8-2

http://www.amazon.com/Artists-Complete-G....pd_bxgy_b_img_b

Another fantastic book is this one

http://www.amazon.com/Art-Animal-Drawing....06 80606&sr=1-1

I realize it's not exactly what you are after but again it is all about building that foundation you need to be a successful artist and I believe that book teaches a lot more then just how to draw animals. It's all about movement, flow,...

Once you can draw the web becomes your best resource, looking daily at the work of others.
My cousin Jan recently published a book with a selection of his daily caricatures from his blog

That's quality stuff!!

A new book, but not mine.
(I wonder if I'll make a book one day ?)

Here's a very good one, made by my friend Gervais, for the drawings, and by Albert Algoud (a french humorist who has work a lot for TV programs, and comics).
It's called "Politique en stock", and it's about politics (french politics)transformed into comic strip heroes (who the are supposed to look like)
The caricatures are amazing... but it's only available in french.
